Sarah Hadley is a Los Angeles-based interdisciplinary artist known for her narrative imagery that takes viewers on surreal and mysterious journeys. Her work explores themes of memory, identity, history, and imagination.

This image draws me in with its intricate layers and details. While the woman in stride is the focal point, my eyes continue to explore the frame, discovering new and interesting elements.

Born in Boston, Hadley studied art history and photography and began her serious photographic pursuits in Venice, Italy. Her career includes work at the National Gallery of Art and the Library of Congress, as well as founding the Filter Photo Festival in Chicago. Her photography has been exhibited internationally and published in various esteemed publications.

Currently, she lives in LA and is working on a project reflecting her unique upbringing in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.
